We offer a variety of classes both in-person and virtually, so you can stretch, vibe, and grow from wherever you are. Whether you prefer the energy of the studio or the comfort of home, there's a class for every body and every schedule.
Outdoor Movement: Park Workouts & Nature Walks
At Stretch & Vibe, we believe healing doesn’t just happen inside four walls it happens in nature, too. That’s why we host energizing park workouts and peaceful nature walks in scenic outdoor spaces throughout our community.
Our park workouts blend yoga, Pilates, breathwork, and bodyweight movement under open skies perfect for those who love fresh air and a deeper connection to the earth. Our nature walks are slow, mindful, and restorative, designed to calm the mind, spark joy, and get your body moving gently.
Whether you're chasing endorphins or grounding your energy, our outdoor sessions offer a beautiful balance of movement, mindfulness, and Mother Nature.

Why Yoga & Pilates?
Yoga and Pilates are more than just movement they’re medicine for the mind, body, and soul. These practices help you release what you’ve been carrying, reconnect with your breath, and return to yourself.
Yoga teaches you to be present, to breathe through tension, and to create space physically and emotionally.
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Regular group classes are $15 plus tax per session.
Private one-on-one sessions are $25 plus tax per session.
If you attend classes regularly, membership and package options are available for both group classes and private sessions.

Simply click on any class or private session from the booking calendar and select Book Now.
Once the booking page opens, scroll down past the class description to view all available payment options.
You will have the option to:
• Pay for a single session
• Purchase a package
• Purchase a monthly membership
Memberships and packages are available for both group classes and private sessions.
How Memberships Work
Memberships are valid for one month from the date of purchase.
Your membership begins the day you sign up and remains active for 30 days. Any credits included with your membership must be used during that active membership period.

About Us
Meet Shonice Jeanay, Your Instructor!
Hey y’all, I’m Dr. Shonice Maxey.
Born and raised in Zwolle, Louisiana, I carry my roots with pride, purpose, and a deep commitment to the communities that shaped me. My journey through Grambling State University, where I earned my bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate, prepared me academically, but my calling has always been bigger than the classroom.
Fitness is my passion, but my purpose is transformation, representation, and legacy.
I am a certified and licensed fitness professional with over six years of experience guiding individuals through their wellness journeys. My work is centered on helping people reconnect with their bodies, restore their peace, and rediscover themselves through intentional movement, breathwork, and mindfulness.
But Stretch & Vibe was built for something deeper.
I am proud to be the first Black woman to open a yoga and Pilates wellness studio in Monroe, Louisiana. This space was created not only to serve the community, but to make a statement that we belong in every space, including wellness.
Stretch & Vibe stands as a reflection of that purpose. It is for the woman who is healing. The man who is rebuilding. The beginner who is just starting. The experienced who is continuing. It is for every race, every background, every body type, and every level.
This space was also created for the little girls who look like me. So they can see what is possible. So they can grow up knowing they belong, they are capable, and they can walk boldly into any space they choose.

I am a proud graduate of Blue Sky Yoga’s Teacher Training Program and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance. I have completed over 100 hours of continuing education and led more than 2,000 hours of yoga, stretch therapy, and wellness-based classes and workshops.
In 2020, I stepped out on faith and founded Stretch & Vibe Wellness Studio, a space created with intention, healing, and authenticity at its core.
What began as a vision has grown into a movement.
A space where strength meets softness.
Where movement meets meaning.
Where mental and physical health meet… and transformation begins.
This journey has been built on faith, resilience, and grace. I dedicate this work to my parents and grandparents, whose strength, sacrifices, and love laid the foundation for everything I am building today.
I am forever grateful to God, to my mentors, my clients, and every soul who has trusted me to be part of their journey.
Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time, returning to yourself after a difficult season, or simply ready to feel again,
